My name is David Thorpe Wright. Two of my great great uncles, George and Ed, were responsible for the Wright Building and Wright’s Hall (the Wright Opera House.) I want to thank, on behalf of the Wright family, the people of Ouray who donated either time, materials and/ or money for renovating the grand old dame, Wright’s Hall. I also want to thank the Friends of The Wright Opera House for rescuing the building from either demolition or it being turned into something else...
