Rootwings Art takes flight in Ridgway

A new art gallery has opened in the historic Herran House in Ridgway at 146 N. Cora St. Rootwings Art is owned by and will feature art from Ridgway artists Bruce and Vanessa Marootian Backer.

This month, the first show combines the sculpture art of the Backers with painting by Fred Burns of Taos, New Mexico, to create “Luscious: A Provocative Pairing of Sculptures and Paintings.”
