Doctor agrees to settlement

A former Ridgway doctor has agreed to never practice medicine again or apply for a license in the U.S. and to pay back Medicare funds he received while practicing without a license.

The U.S. Department of Justice signed a settlement agreement with Dr. Dave Sherwood, releasing the details of that agreement this week after Sherwood made his first payment.
