The driver of a semi truck was killed Friday afternoon in a rollover accident on U.S. Highway 550 near Ridgway Reservoir, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The accident happened around 3:52 p.m. at mile marker 113, Trooper Gary Cutler said. The semi rolled into its top, and the driver, a 58-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
