Ouray County commissioners delayed a decision on whether to rescind their local mask mandate until next week, despite the public health director’s recommendation to drop it and align with the state’s less-restrictive order.

The county’s requirement that masks be worn in indoor, public spaces such as stores and restaurants remains in place through June 6.
