The Cedar Hill Cemetery District has operated the cemetery between Ridgway and Ouray for more than 100 years, with its last seven years of operation being under the care of Rik Lane. Rik, former caretaker, has recently resigned and the Cemetery Board wishes to acknowledge his service with this letter, knowing that the many people who travel Highway 550 past the cemetery will agree that he has done exemplary work in keeping the grounds.
