County commits to renewable electricity

Ouray County has agreed to join hundreds of other businesses, local governments and private individuals in obtaining its electricity from 100 percent renewable energy sources.

The Board of County Commissioners last month agreed to join the San Miguel Power Association’s Totally Green Program, committing to 100 percent renewable electricity at all county operations and facilities.
