Live fire training planned on Saturday

A house located on County Road 5, donated for fire training, is expected to be burned down this weekend.

The Ridgway Fire Department has been conducting training inside the home at 7137 County Road 5 for the past month, and the now-gutted home will be strategically burned on Saturday morning.

The property, purchased last October for $1.2 million by Kevin and Jane Loughrey, was donated to the department. The Loughreys currently have an address in the Denver area, according to county property record...
