When Sandy and I were first married I often had difficulty understanding what she was trying to say. After almost three years, I now speak “Sandy” fluently, and am able to decipher her dialogue with incredible accuracy.

The following is a list of Sandyisms, followed by my interpretation, then my response:

Sandyism: I’m excited that we’ll be having friends over tonight.

Interpretation: Comb your hair, pick up your clutter, and for God’s sake clean your bathroom!
