The Colorado Department of Transportation has plans to extend its Bustang Outrider bus route in July with five-day-a-week round trips from Telluride to Grand Junction, stopping in Ridgway among other towns along the way.

Julie Skeen, a public relations consultant working with CDOT, presented the plan – which is one of four expansions planned in the state for 2021 – to commissioners on Tuesday.
