Norma J. (Westlund) Clark, 94, of Naperville Illinois, passed away January 28, 2021. Norma was born in Chicago, Illinois where she met and fell in love with Max L Clark. They were married on February 27,1946 after Max graduated from Notre Dame, she then followed him as he served in the Navy during World War II. Norma and Max lived in Illinois and New Jersey before retiring in Ouray, Colorado in 1980. Being a wife and mother was Norma’s greatest joy.
Norma was a hard worker employed in the banking industry, orthodontic office, and as a church secretary for “Grace Lutheran Church” in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Norma found a passion for painting and loved singing and playing in the church bell choir. While in Ouray, Colorado, Norma worked with “Meals on Wheels”, “Ouray Historic Museum”, volunteering at the local church and anywhere she could help others. She loved hiking and playing bridge with all her friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Max Clark, and her son Paul S. Clark.
Survivors include her children Cheryl (Hector) Sera of Leesburg Florida, Debbie Cloke (Thomas) of Sugar Grove, Illinois, Mark Clark (Niki) of Columbus Ohio, and Marsha Clark of Ouray, Colorado; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
