The Ouray School Board will not offer another settlement to a landscaper who claims she wasn’t fairly compensated for work on the new playground last year.

Former Ridgway resident Susan Maybach, who owns Earth Wind and Rock landscaping, threatened to sue the district for unpaid work in small-claims court after she filed a claim and rescinded it in 2019.

Maybach originally filed a complaint last year alleging she was owed more than $8,000 in work completed for the playground renovation in 2019. M...
