The Ouray School Board dedicated the bulk of a lengthy special session on Nov. 4 to discussions on how to safely allow for sports this spring.

Typical fall and winter school sports like soccer, volleyball and basketball were pushed to the spring statewide, and knowledge bowl has gone virtual. Athletics Director Bernie Pierce is eager to find a way to allow for safe participation in those activities in the months ahead.
