Both school districts in Ouray County have closed for school today. Ridgway announced a snow day closure for K-12 this morning. A reported 9 inches of snow fell overnight in the area.

Ouray School District is also not holding classes today but it’s for a different reason – a water line break in the main building forced closure of the school. It’s not clear whether school will be open tomorrow yet.
