Local tax districts support measure to repeal Gallagher Amendment
Local taxing districts have endorsed Amendment B on the statewide ballot, hoping it will improve their funding situations if the Gallagher Amendment is repealed. This would help to freeze funding losses for fire districts, schools and other services relying on the property taxes calculated with the Gallagher Amendment’s formula.
