Dear Editor:

We agree there are benefits to having medical providers in Ouray County. We also understand that the medical provider at Mountain Medical Center (MMC) is highly regarded by his patients, staff, and the RSA board members. However, these do not justify all property owners paying a tax (mill levy) so the RSA can subsidize one medical provider There are other medical providers in the county who do not receive a taxpayer subsidy.
