Dear Editor,

No doubt, the focus for this year’s election will mostly be the national one, but the one I’m following more closely is the county commissioner race in our very own county. I’m reminded every day of the important role the three county commissioners play in my quality of life: zoning, roads and bridges, safety, growth, public lands, county budgets, public health, tourism, housing, building codes, wildfire mitigation, broadband access, resolving disputes, and the list goes on.
