The Ouray Ice Park has a new executive director with plenty of experience to take it through the next year of uncertainty and look ahead to a future of a steady flow of water, ice and funds.

With a Stanford business degree and more than 40 years of mountaineering experience, Peter O’Neil balances a solid business background with a long history of working with outdoor-related nonprofit organizations. He replaces Dan Chehayl, who resigned earlier this year.
