Log Hill garage burns

The Log Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire on Canyon Drive in the early morning hours of Sept. 11, which destroyed a detached garage.

“By the time we got there, the structure had been totally involved in flames,” sa id Assistant Chief Tom Austin.

Eight members of the Log Hill department responded, and two firefighters from the Montrose Fire Department also assisted with the incident.
