Isolation not realistic
Dear Editor:
In a recent opinion piece, John Mitchell, the chairman of the Ouray County Republican Party, stated that, as his premise, “[t]hus, if people follow the first guideline about isolating when sick and we follow social distancing, masks are not required”. As a teacher in the county, I wholeheartedly wish that this was true. Masks will make student learning significantly more difficult, and that breaks my heart.
