An application for a marijuana retail store in Colona has been withdrawn.

Kind Castle applicant John Dyet on Tuesday thanked commissioners for their time and consideration and apologized for the inconvenience, but said the landlord of the building at 55 Hotchkiss Ave. was “entertaining options until the final hour” and “because of that we had to withdraw the application.”

Building owner Craig Jackman refuted Dyet’s assertion.
