Letter: Trail has lot to offer

Dear Editor:

I would like to voice my support for the Miller Mesa Recreational Trail (MMRT). As a lifelong equestrian and resident of Ouray County, I feel this is a wonderful addition to our outdoor community. The MMRT is planned to begin at the parking lot at the top of County Road 5 and will connect into the Dallas Trail.

It will provide a safe (off road) trail for equestrians, hikers, skiers, etc. The trail will be privately funded and maintained by the Ouray Trail Group in the summer and groom...
