Letter: For safety, environment, county should focus on fire hazard
Dear Editor:
Corbett Creek is approximately 8 inches deep and 5 feet wide. After the last major flood in 2008, the Ouray County Road and Bridge Department began excavating gravel from the creek on a regular basis, with heavy equipment generally parked or operating in the area 24/7 for the following nine years.
