Limited capacity, cost concerns force cancellation of rodeo
The Ouray County Rodeo Association has canceled this year’s rodeo, citing unsustainable costs if attendance is limited due to COVID-19.
“The board has basically decided that with the number of people we would be able to have, that the county would allow us to have, it’s not financially smart because of what it costs to put it on,” Rodeo Association President Sarah McConnell said.
