City retains live music restraints
The Ouray City Council on Monday refused to lift restrictions on amplified music at Goldbelt Bar and Grill but agreed to re-examine the city’s noise ordinance in the coming months to make it less subjective.
The owners of the restaurant at 800 Main St. asked councilors to reconsider the special noise permit granted earlier this year and eliminate the requirement that the music not be heard more than 5o feet beyond Goldbelt’s property line.
