Colona convenience store clears hurdle to reopen
The Ouray County Planning Commission voted on Tuesday to recommend county commissioners approve a special use permit for the reopening of the store on Highway 550 in Colona.
Charles Van Alsburg, a Loghill Mesa resident, applied for the permit to open County Line Mercantile, which will be a convenience and liquor store. It will not provide gasoline, according to information provided to the planning commission.
