We must have zero tolerance for sexual violence
Dear Editor:
On Aug. 6, john Warren, the owner of Red Mountain Brewing in Ouray, will be arraigned on three counts of sexual assault. He is alleged to have raped a woman who feared violence if she did not submit, and who was physically disabled by alcohol and sleeping pills.
The crime was reported in December of 2018. Twenty months will have passed since the report, before a trial date might even be set.
Like a all defendants, Warren is innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof in our judic...
