Dear Editor:

I would like to thank three members of the Ouray City Council for stepping up and forgoing their salaries for the rest of their terms in office. The three are Mayor Greg Nelson, Mayor Pro Tem K. John Wood and Councilperson Peggy Lindsey. This was done informally at the April 1 meeting and shows a real spirit of civic duty in these difficult economic times.
