Ridgway School administrators paid tribute during last week’s board meeting to Rick Taylor, a beloved volunteer who died earlier this month.

Taylor volunteered at every level of the district and was a familiar face collecting money and running the concession stand at athletic events.

“Rick Taylor passed away over the weekend and as all of us know, I don’t think there is a part of Ridgway School District that Rick has not been a part of. The elementary Fun Run won’t be the same without him....
