Many of you won’t know who I am. After a 20-year career with the Wichita Police Department, I retired and moved to Ouray in October 1981. On January 11, 1982 I was sworn in as the chief of police for the City of Ouray. I remained in that position for 22 years, retiring on October 31, 2003.
