Undersheriff Ted Wolfe has announced he is running for sheriff in the recall election to replace Sheriff Lance FitzGerald.
With 36 years of law enforcement under his belt — 20 of those in the place that he said his heart calls home, Ouray County — Wolfe aims to restore trust in the sheriff’s office with a higher quality of law enforcement. He believes he can lead by example and keep the lines of communication open while keeping his promises.
