Board OKs housing code changes

The Ouray Planning Commission on Tuesday recommended a package of changes to the city’s land-use code aimed at creating more workforce housing.

Planning commissioners voted 4-0 to forward code amendments regarding accessory dwelling units to the City Council, which is expected to take action on them on Monday. Planning Commissioner J. Gary Dunn was absent from the meeting.
