Suicide prevention training set for March 9

Tri-County Health Network is offering free suicide prevention training in Ridgway next month. A four-hour safeTALK workshop is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. March 9 at the Ouray 4-H Center. Dinner and refreshments will be provided.

SafeTALK prepares anyone 15 or older to become a suicide-alert helper. It helps participants recognize a person with thoughts of suicide and connect them with resources that can help them live and thrive.
