February 19, 1970 – Planning and engineering are reportedly underway in this area for a year-around recreational development, with a 600 unit condominium complex planned by 1973 and about 4,000 total units in about five years, according to the development organizer, Glenn Miller, of Eagle Nest, New Mexico.
