Dear Editor:

I am writing this letter to congratulate the two of you on the job that you have done since taking over our local newspaper.

As a small child, I lived in near-poverty conditions in Ouray County. Since the time I was tall enough to kick a duck in the rear end, I’ve always rooted for the underdog.
