Tourism Office keeps contract
Ouray city councilors on Monday approved a long-term contract with the Ouray Tourism Office to continue to market the town to visitors and operate the Visitor’s Center but made it clear they plan to exert more control over how the money is spent.
The council unanimously agreed to a 3-year deal to retain the OTO’s services while also extending the OTO’s current contract for up to three months to allow time for the two entities to hammer out the details of the new contract.
