Group seeks to oust councilor
A one-person committee is threatening to recall Ouray City Councilor Ethan Funk if he doesn’t resign, claiming the newly sworn-in council — not the previous council — should have had the opportunity to fill the vacancy ultimately claimed by Funk.
Scott Clifford, who along with his wife Sally owns the Ouray Picnic Basket and Ouray County Watersports, distributed a letter to councilors and audience members during Monday night’s council meeting seeking Funk’s ouster.
