It was overheard and relayed to me that someone on Ouray’s city council gave me credit for writing the petition signed by 30 Ouray business people to recall the request for proposal for “destination marketing” and the Visitor Center.

Ultimately, the council decided not to reissue the RFP, instead deciding on a three-year contract with Ouray Tourism Office with the promise of stipulations, benchmarks and goals to be included.
