50 Years Ago

December 11, 1969 – Approximately 20 people met in the office of the Twin Peaks Motel Sunday evening to organize a snowmobile club for Ouray County. The group discussed a possible race for this area, and will also check on acquiring permission to set up snowmobile trails on public and private lands in the area.
