SILVERTON – The Town of Silverton is gearing up for an early opening at Kendall Mountain Ski Area. The chair lift will start spinning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. “With recent storms and more snow in the forecast, we are confident there will be enough coverage to get the ski hill open a week sooner than originally scheduled,” says Todd Bove, the Town’s Facilities, Parks, and Recreation Director.
