The Board of County Commissioners held an executive session during their regular meeting on Nov. 19 to receive legal advice concerning right-of-way encroachment at the junction of County Roads 5 and 5A. Though the agenda said action may be taken after reconvening from the executive session, none was taken.

The route has been of public concern recently because of a lawsuit involving the county, landowners and recreationists who want access to the roadway for winter activities.
