Local organizers of Operation Christmas Child are asking for the community’s help in gathering donations for boys and girls across the world.

Ridgway Community Church, 685 W. Sherman St., is a drop-off location this year and will accept donations for Ouray and San Miguel counties. This is where participants can take shoeboxes filled with specific items, which will be shipped internationally by Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief organization.
