Space to Create artwork unveiled

 

Around 50 people gathered Sunday afternoon to watch the unveiling of artist Jimmy Descant’s “The Ridgway Ride with Space to Create” assemblage art, which marks the location of the Space to Create project.

The artwork, complete with found metal objects arranged to represent elements of Ridgway’s past, present and future, is displayed at the planned future location of the Space to Create live-work space. This includes 26 affordable-housing units available to mainly artists located in a cu...
