Twin Peaks expansion only benefits owners, not the public
Dear Editor:
Citizens of Ouray should attend the special City Council meeting on
October 29 to oppose the final passage of the flawed Twin Peaks planned unit development. This is not the time to approve 96 new short term units in our little town.
It is obvious that Ouray has reached the limit of many of our fundamental resources. These include fresh water, sewage treatment, parking, and short term rental capacity. This gargantuan proposal disregards these limitations while misusing the PUD process ...
