A more than hour-long special session of the Ouray School Board with a “Teacher Council,” held Oct. 16 off campus, was attended by 21 people, mostly Ouray School teachers and three board members last week. Superintendent and High School Principal Scott Pankow and Elementary Principal Kenneth Nelson were not in attendance, as they usually are at board meetings.
