Crews battle Cow Creek Fire
OURAY COUNTY
Fire crews from around Ouray County responded early Wednesday morning to a wildfire that ignited in the Cimarrons east of Ridgway.
Ouray County Emergency Manager Glenn Boyd said a group of hunters reported the fire burning early Wednesday near the Stealey Mountain trailhead off County Road 12. The fire is burning on U.S. Forest Service land, in the Uncompahgre Wilderness.
