My birding friend and I attended the Bird Banding at Ridgway State Park (Dallas Creek) on Sept. 7. The weather provided rain earlier, then clearing to make a nice day, even though we had many mosquitos to put up with.
We saw many species plus nine different Wood Warblers being banded and evaluated. The only warbler for this region that we did not see being banded was the Audubon’s Yellow-rumped....
