Chipping program underway on Log Hill

The West Region Wildfire Council is hosting a community chipping and slash management program on Log Hill Mesa this week as part of a fuels reduction program. The deadline to register online is Sunday and the debris ready to be chipped is already piling up. Residents in Pleasant Valley have until Oct. 20 to register their piles.
