Ridgway has an aggressive schedule for the hiring process of a new town manager. Plans are to have the candidate selected by Nov. 12 and the role filled by early December.

To help with the logistics and speed up the process the town has hired a consultant, Mark Garcia of Gov-Plus LLC. Garcia is the interim town manager of Ignacio, Colorado, and has also owned a consulting business called of Gov-Plus LLC for 11 years. He helped the city of Ouray with a previous hire.
