Ouray’s tourism fund rebounded enough last month to convince the City Council to give funding in September for the Ouray Tourism Office, but the fund remains in the red.

Preliminary numbers gathered by City Finance and Administrative Services Director Melissa Drake show the fund had improved from being more than $25,000 in the hole through the end of July to just under $7,000 through the end of August.
